Pyrite and Topaz Faceted Earrings with Moose Charm

These earrings are both cute and beautiful. The faceted 3mm topaz beads and 2.5mm pyrite beads are full of flash. The earring hooks are, of course, sterling silver and the moose charm is stainless steel. Pretty. Cool. Bling.

Pyrite is a striking, shiny gold coloured mineral that is the result of iron and sulphur bonding. It sparks when struck, and often forms in cubes or other interesting sharp-sided shapes. Topaz is a hard silicate mineral, bonding aluminum and and fluorine. It is naturally colourless and gains a variety of colours, often blue, through inclusions of impurities. 

Topaz is reputed to be a stone of peace and calmness. It encourages self-control, deepens trust, and strengthens relationships. Topaz is an excellent companion during visualization and manifestation. It is the November birthstone. Superficially, pyrite is often turned to as a bringer of wealth and money. More than that, it can provide the energy to pursue one's dreams, tackle tough jobs, and work hard at the relationships that bring true value to our lives. Metaphysically, the moose is a symbol of independence, individuality, and a spirit attuned to the wildness of nature. The moose is strong and resilient.
