Brynne Things are a love of the sea: embracing deep, calm, and full of life

Way before I knew I'd get to share them, a Brynne Thing was always loving rocks. I can't remember ever not having them in my life. As a very little girl, I'd bring them to my Gram and beam as she proudly displayed them on a special table in her front entry. 

As an adult, I continued collecting rocks on walks with dogs that called me theirs. When I wanted a special piece to remember a very special cat, I discovered crystals. Written words have always been an essential Brynne Thing and the metaphysical descriptions deepened my emotional connection.

From there, Brynne Things became choosing crystals as a gift to represent wishes to my dearest friend. On one of the hardest days of my life, crystals were gifted to me and transformed my tears of fear to happy ones. That Christmas, a crystal advent calendar brought me right back to the magic of the season and that little girl who loved rocks. Each night I'd go to sleep still so excited with that day's crystal while eager to start the next day and meet another. 

Brynne Things vary from shrieking with glee to sitting quietly in awe admiring the beauty of rocks. Tumbles are always in my pocket and I work with them to focus my thoughts as they calm or energize me. The charm bracelet I've since made and wear is in honour of the wonderful one my Gram had when I was growing up.

Now Brynne Things are curating this collection from around the world, and creating jewellery in my home by the sea.
