Strawberry Quartz and Mother of Pearl Dangle Earrings

These are dangle earrings made with strawberry quartz pebbles. The findings are 304 stainless steel and the hooks are, of course, 925 sterling silver.

Strawberry quartz is a variety of red to pink-toned quartz. It generally gets its colour from inclusions of iron oxide, goethite, or lepidocrocite, which often form in small dark spots resembling seeds. Mother of pearl is a hard coating that forms on the inside of the shells of many shellfish. It forms in layers that often give it an iridescent quality.

Strawberry quartz is a stone associated with tender love and with the unlocking of suppressed emotions. It encourages us to gently appreciate ourselves and to express affection without anxiety. Mother of pearl is said to relate to the divine feminine energy, bringing tranquility, nurturing energies, and accurate intuition.
