This is a striking spirit amethyst specimen with lots of included hematite. The second generation points are a lovely burnt orange colour over the original pink points. It's a flat specimen that displays well, and it has an interesting quartzy matrix.
Spirit quartz is also called cactus quartz and pineapple quartz. It's a formation which usually occurs on amethyst, which is a form of included quartz. A second generation of small, sparkly points cover the crystal faces of the larger, original amethyst points.
Spirit amethyst is said to be a high vibration that brings peace, drives off negative energies, and balances emotions. It calms and uplifts.
