A lovely double-corded stretch bracelet with silky, chatoyant 8mm selenite beads. The stainless steel accent beads, findings, and jump-clasp add a bright detail, while also allowing you to easily clip on a charm should you choose to. 

Selenite is a nearly transparent form of gypsum that forms in sheets. Satin spar is another form of gypsum, chemically identical to selenite but in a more durable, translucent, and chatoyant form. Both are sold almost interchangeably under the name selenite. If your selenite has been carved, shaped, or chiseled it’s technically satin spar. Selenite is potentially soluble and care should always be taken around water.

Selenite and satin spar are associated with the moon and have a reputation of being master cleansers. They are said to clear away negative energies from their environment and other stones around them. Crystals are often left on selenite “charging plates” or bowls to cleanse and recharge their energies, or on top of the trim around doors to purify the air and energies within.

Sizing: Measure snugly around your wrist with a flexible measuring tape, or use a piece of string and measure it with a ruler. Add about 1/2 inch for a snug fit or about 1 inch if you’d like it looser.
