Rose Quartz Rough 373g

This is a piece of raw rose quartz from South Africa with a long, pointed profile. It has tones from light and almost white to deep, rich pink and some small but interesting hematite spots on the surface. It will sit on several of its surfaces, allowing you to show off your favourite side, and it's also perfect for lapidary work.

Rose quartz is a form of quartz in which aluminum and phosphorus, or dumortierite inclusions colour the material a gentle pink. The density of the microscopic, often needle shaped inclusions can leave the rose quartz almost transparent, opaque, or full of rainbow veils. 

Metaphysically, rose quartz provides the softest of energies. It is self love and tenderness, compassion and meaningful friendship. The nature of rose quartz energy makes it a great gift.
