This is a hematoid quartz cluster from Zimbabwe and it is fabulous. There's one big point being hugged by a pair of slightly smaller points, one of which is a double. The big point has a nice dark red phantom. There's a lovely coating of rich red hematite covering some of the cluster and the translucent points themselves are tinted red with hematite, but much of the base remains a beautifully contrasting pure white quartz. There's lots to see and admire on this wonderful little gem.
Hematoid quartz is a form of quartz in which hematite, basically iron oxide, has become included in the crystal structure during formation.
Metaphysically, hematoid quartz is all about the inner strength. It is very grounding, giving you the ground to stand on and providing the sense of strength and resilience you need for a fresh start.
