Hematoid Quartz Point 112g

A beautiful, chunky quartz point from Madagascar. It has both a clear window into the heart of the point, and a nice thick outside coat of rough red hematite. It even has several teeny smokey quartz mini-points at its base.

Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on earth, often growing alongside and including other minerals. Hematite is an earthy red form of iron oxide and often includes itself in the business of other minerals, giving them colour and detail.
