There's a Mr. Death here, he's come about the reaping. Appropriate to any decor, this obsidian grim reaper carving is 4 inches of sheer terror. You can save him for Halloween should you choose, but we recommend him as an all-year accent piece.

Obsidian is a naturally formed glass, a result of volcanic magma cooling too rapidly to allow the formation of crystals. As a glass, fractured obsidian is often razor sharp and should be handled with great care. 

Black obsidian is said to provide protection and help keep one grounded. It can provide insight and induce creativity.
