Abalone Stainless Cable Bracelet

A beautiful bracelet made with dramatic, iridescent 12x8mm oval abalone shell beads and 4mm stainless steel spacer beads. It uses a sturdy stainless steel cable and lobster clasp. 

Abalone are sea snails with flat shells known for their iridescent, vividly patterned interior. Their shell is composed of calcium carbonate, as are calcite aragonite, limestone, eggshells, and pearls. The shells are ablative; when stuck, they tend to shed layers rather than crack or break. 

Abalone is intrinsically protective in nature. It helps us feel safe enough to explore and heal our emotions, providing a sense of harmony and balance. It reminds us of our connection to the sea, with its depth and breadth. We are reminded that when struck, the ocean comes together with no harm done.

Sizing: Measure snugly around your wrist with a flexible measuring tape, or use a piece of string and measure it with a ruler. Add about 1/2 inch for a snug fit or about 1 inch if you’d like a looser fit.
