Dragon Bloodstone Rough 813g

This is a great, chunky fellow from South Africa. Beautiful deep reds, browns, and beiges are set in a varied range of green. It looks great standing on edge and also laying flat with either side up. A fabulous display as is, and also big enough to break down for lapidary work or tumbling.

Bloodstones are heliotropes, an aggregate of multiple forms of chalcedony and jasper. Dragon bloodstone is generally a mix of green epidote and piemontite (red epidote) .

Dragon bloodstone carries a reputation as dramatic as its looks. It speaks of the Dragon, who sweeps down from the mountain bringing positive energy and prosperity. It is a warrior stone, a stone of justice, integrity, and tenacity.
