Chrysocolla, Malachite, Druse Specimen, COR-INT1

This is a really beautiful specimen combining blue chrysocolla, green malachite, and sparkly druse, with lots of vugs full of botryoidal formations. Really great shapes in this one, you could spend hours just looking at it.

Malachite and chrysocolla are both forms of oxidized copper. They often form together, with malachite forming in the presence of carbon sources and chrysocolla forming as a silicate.

Malachite is generally seen as being a stone of growth, change, protection, and travel. Chrysocolla is known as a stone of insight, clear vision, and the courage to embrace change.
