This is a very pretty, very busy shattuckite specimen from the Congo. There's some beautiful deep blue shattuckite with what appears to be some lovely light blue chrysocolla and gemmy green dioptase. Every side of this beautiful little piece has a different story to tell.
Shattuckite forms around copper ore deposits, composed of oxidized copper, portions of water molecules, and silicon. It is a vibrant and diversely textured mineral that forms in intense light to deep blues. It often forms around other dramatic copper-derived minerals like malachite, chrysocolla, and azurite.
Shattuckite is often associated with intuition and psychic ability and is said to strengthen communication that resolves differences or brings about balance.
