Black Network Necklace with 18" Stainless Steel Popcorn Chain

This is a strong necklace, with a large oval pendant made out of black network jasper. The pattern is complex but with quiet tones in black and grey. It has a robust stainless steel popcorn chain and compliments both masculine and feminine styles. 

Black Network Jasper, or Spiderweb Jasper, is a form of chalcedony, a quartz which has formed individual crystal structures too small to be seen with the naked eye. Fissures in the paler base rock were filled in by the darker material to form the intricate netting pattern.

Black network jasper is thought to be a grounding stone, casting a web of balance and protection. Studying the physical patterns of the stone can remind us to ponder the interconnectedness of life and help our subconscious mind to embrace the larger patterns around us.
