Orca Agate Stretch Bracelet

Handmade with love in Digby, Nova Scotia

This is a cool one. It's a 7" orca agate bracelet with 6mm beads and silver spacer beads and a silver jump clasp. There was one, single red orca agate in the batch of beads, likely an orca / carnelian cross-breed and it got put on this bracelet. It's truly unique. 

Orca agate is a complicated chalcedony. Inclusions of minerals like hematite cause deep brown to black patches of often translucent stone to intermix with patches of white, imitating the colour patterns of the orca whale. The transition zones can be stark or very gradual, but are always beautiful.

Orca agate is thought to be a very powerful stone, like its orca namesake. It keeps you protected, driving away negative energies. It encourages freedom in thought and courage in action. Add in the passion of carnelian and you've got yourself one great bracelet.

Sizing: Measure snugly around your wrist with a flexible measuring tape, or use a piece of string and measure it with a ruler. Add about 1/2 inch for a snug fit or about 1 inch if you’d like a looser fit.
