30cm Selenite Spiral Tower SST-30

This is a very tall, slender tower in the form of a nicely carved spiral. There are a lot of selenite carvings out there, but tall spiral towers like this are relatively hard to find. This is an uncommon piece that makes a strong but not overbearing statement without taking up a lot of surface area. 

Selenite is a form of gypsum. When it occurs in sheets, it is most properly called selenite. When it occurs in chatoyant, translucent chunks suitable for carving it is most properly called satin spar. The terms are often used interchangeably in casual conversation.

Selenite is known to be a great source for charging and cleansing crystals. It is said to represent the spirit of Selene, goddess of the moon.
